Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated:
Smart Business Wizard is operated by AI Tech.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service and explains how trials, renewals, cancellations and refunds work for Smart Business Wizard subscriptions.
1. Free trial
Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial with no card required. You won’t be charged during the trial. If you add a payment method and choose a plan, your first charge happens when the trial ends. If you don’t, your workspace pauses at the end of the trial; your data is kept for at least 30 days so you can subscribe or export it.
2. Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price until cancelled. We send a receipt for every charge. For yearly plans we will email a reminder before renewal where required by law. Price changes are notified at least 30 days before they apply.
3. How to cancel
A Super Admin can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in the application, or by emailing billing@smartbusinesswizard.com from the Super Admin’s address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access until then and won’t be charged again.
4. Refunds
Because every plan can be tried free first, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time, downgrades, unused users, companies or Extensions, or unused Babu AI requests, except where required by applicable law or stated below.
- Billing errors. If we charged you in error (for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a cancellation you made in time), we will refund the incorrect amount. Please report it to billing@smartbusinesswizard.com within 60 days of the charge.
- Service failure. If we materially fail to provide the Service and cannot fix it, you may terminate and receive a prorated refund of prepaid fees for the unused remainder of the period, as described in the Terms.
- Legal requirements. Where local law gives you a right to a refund or cancellation that cannot be waived, that right applies.
- Enterprise refund terms are set in the signed order form.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe and usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
5. Extensions
The first installation of each Extension (such as the online shop, POS, Inventory, CRM or HR) is free for 30 days. After that, its monthly price is added to your subscription and billed with your plan, in the same currency. A Super Admin can remove an Extension at any time; it stops at the end of the period already paid, and its data stays in your workspace. Extension fees follow the same refund rules as your plan.
6. Upgrades and downgrades
Upgrades (a higher plan, or monthly to yearly when you choose to switch immediately) take effect straight away; you’re charged the prorated difference for the rest of the current period. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. If your usage exceeds the lower plan’s limits (companies, users), you’ll be asked to reduce it first, or the extra items will become read-only.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, we will notify the Super Admin and retry over the following days. If payment is still outstanding 14 days after notice, the workspace may be paused until the balance is paid. Your data is not deleted because of a failed payment during this period.
8. Your data after cancellation
Your data belongs to you. After your subscription ends you have 30 days to export your records (contact support@smartbusinesswizard.com if you need help). Customer Data is then deleted from active systems within 60 days after the subscription ends, and from encrypted backups on their normal rotation, except where we must keep limited records by law (such as our own billing records).
9. Disputes and chargebacks
If you think a charge is wrong, please contact billing@smartbusinesswizard.com first. We can usually resolve it faster than a card dispute. Filing a chargeback for a valid charge may lead to the workspace being paused until the dispute is resolved.
